Seven Ways to Save on Your Kitchen Renovation from The New York Times
Over the weekend The New York Times published the article Seven Ways to Save on Your Kitchen Renovation, and a few of the ideas have lingered as I contemplate our own new space.
While I know I’ll never do my own demolition, the article has me considering open shelving and butcher block. After all, open shelving would force me to minimize our belongings and I’m always a fan of pairing back.
Also, up to now I’ve been extremely adamant about changing the space’s layout for functional purposes, but now I’m seeing the project in a whole new light.
If you dream about facelifting or gutting your kitchen, I recommend letting these ideas percolate.
