Like four seasons in one day

The weather in SoMa has been pretty erratic over the past week or so. Back in England a puddlesuit would be a toddler staple in February, but this week we seem to have gone from snowsuit to shorts in a blink of an eye.  It kind of reminds me of the Crowded House song
from the 90’s;

Even when you’re feeling warm
The temperature could drop away
Like four seasons in one day

The winter season certainly can take its toll every time we go outside or return to our homes.

Light Gatherers

When the cold starts to get under your skin, when you grow weary of your alarm going off in the dark mornings, when the rain beats down upon the window, you may ask yourself: where is the sunlight? According to Norman E. Rosenthal, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown University School of Medicine, 6% of the US population, primarily in northern climates, is affected by Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
