Everyday Objects as Art

One of the most asked questions from my clients is about art. More specifically, where to find it. The answer is tricky because, as we all know that like beauty, art is in the eye of the beholder. One thing I can safely say to everyone who asks is that art isn’t necessarily a two dimensional thing that you hang on the wall. It can be a beautiful piece of driftwood you found on your last Maine vacation, something you found in a junkyard once or an interesting object you fell in love with at a yard sale last weekend.

If something speaks to you, whatever the reason, it can be considered art and displaying such items will only make your home more visually interesting. More like you. What bits and pieces do you have buried in your basement? Go take a look and then incorporate what you find into your home somehow. You will love looking at the things that make you smile when you walk by.
